Because even patriots suffer from clutter.
Patriot Self Storage was founded by brothers Hal and Kelly Perdew, who hail from a family with strong military ties in Kentucky. Hal is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis while Kelly is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. Both went on to successful careers in business after earning MBAs from the Anderson School at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
A former Public Storage executive, Hal conceived a business model for a storage company that his older brother, Kelly, a seasoned entrepreneur and winner of season two of “The Apprentice,” couldn’t resist. Combining their talents and investor networks, they launched Patriot Self Storage in 2006 and spent the next two years building out the first two locations in North Port, Florida. Today these top-of-the-line facilities eclipse all existing competitors in quality and customer service, just as they envisioned. An additional 25 locations are planned as the company expands to serve other markets.
Hal handles all day-to-day operations at Patriot Self Storage while Kelly oversees legal matters. Both are committed to contributing to the community and supporting military families. As part of this mission, Patriot Self Storage donates $5 per move-in to the Fallen Patriots Fund, a program established to help families of US Military personnel who were killed or seriously injured during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Each location also conducts quarterly initiatives with local charities.
Finally, Patriot Self Storage offers discounts to active duty and retired military personnel, police officers and firefighters. We salute your service. You will also receive the special benefit of 24-hour access to your storage unit. Please speak to the location manager for details.
